Katie believes strong communities are built on the foundation of quality education. She believes MMSD can inspire growth, foster equity, and create opportunities that empower every learner to succeed.
Katie Winn is a dedicated mom of two kids currently enrolled with MMSD. Katie has a 2nd grader at Lapham Elementary and a soon to be Kindergarten student at Lapham in 2025. As a passionate advocate for equitable education, she is committed to fostering an environment where every child can thrive. Drawing on her firsthand experience as a parent and an active member of the Lapham / Marquette Parent Teacher Group, Katie understands the importance of strong communication between families, educators, and the school board.
